Why This? Why Now?
Many of us have found that engaging with these practices occasionally or in isolation, whilst valuable, does not always allow the depth of transformation that this moment in our world is calling for. By committing to a shared daily practice over fifteen weeks within a wider community, we hope to create the conditions for something deeper: a gradual reweaving of ourselves back into relationship with our living, intelligent Earth. This community of practice is designed to be a support rather than a demand, honouring each person's own capacity and rhythm.
This is an invitation to embark on a shared journey into the unknown as we enter more deeply into a real, living relationship with the Earth.
Together, we will come to the living Earth with openness, intention and a willingness to commune with her. As we offer our intention, love and presence, we will also make space to receive: to listen deeply, to feel with Her, and to discover what she may be inviting us to remember and what she wishes to make known through us at this time.
Rather than seeking to direct the journey, we hope to cultivate the conditions in which a deeper relationship can emerge and unfold in its own organic way.
Each week we will gather online to explore new practices together before carrying them into our daily lives. Alongside the weekly gathering, participants will also be part of a small companion group, offering encouragement, reflection and companionship throughout the journey.

What is 'Community Of Practice?'
A Community of Practice offers us the opportunity to:

🌍Amplify our individual practice by becoming part of a collective field of intention, love and remembrance.
🌍Join with people across the world as we reweave ourselves into the web of life.
🌍Become beacons of love and remembrance for our living, intelligent Earth, each in our own place, whilst contributing to something greater than ourselves.

Love Opens Us To Grief,
And Grief Opens Us To Love...
"Grief has become one of my greatest teachers. It has taught me that grief is not the opposite of love—it is one of love's deepest expressions... We grieve because we love.
The depth of our grief is often a reflection of the depth of our relationship. As we begin to open our hearts to the living Earth, it is natural that we also become more aware of her suffering. Rather than turning away from this grief, we are being invited to turn towards Her with tenderness, to bear the ache in our Hearts and to hold this with Her.
Not to become overwhelmed by it, but to allow it to soften us, deepen us and remind us of our deeper sense of belonging with Her.
Many wisdom traditions understand grief as an essential part of the cycle of life. When we allow ourselves to grieve, we participate more fully in that cycle, allowing sorrow to move, transform and make space for new life.
Within this community, we will hold whatever emerges with gentleness and compassion. No one will be asked to carry their grief alone. Rather than something to turn away from, grief can become a doorway into a more open heart—one that is able to receive more fully the extraordinary beauty, and aliveness that surround us every moment of every day.

The Ground From Which This Community Grows
This community has been deeply inspired by the field of spiritual ecology and the work of Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee—filmmaker, Sufi teacher, Executive Editor of Emergence Magazine, and author of Remembering Earth: A Spiritual Ecology.
Emmanuel's work invites us into a living relationship with the Earth through contemplative practice, deep listening and the wisdom of the heart. Drawing inspiration from his writings, teachings and the practices explored through the Remembering Earth retreat, this community offers an opportunity to explore these principles together through our own shared experience and daily practice.
This is not an official Remembering Earth programme, nor is it intended to replicate Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee's retreat. Rather, it is an independent community of practice inspired by these principles and practices, offered as an invitation to discover what may emerge as we deepen our own loving relationship with the living Earth.
