Rekindling our Kinship with Nature: A Path To Healing
A Path To Healing...
In today’s fast-paced world, we are witnessing a growing mental health crisis among children in the UK. We believe this crisis stems from a disconnection from our inherent relationship with the more-than-human world and weakened parent-child bonds due to modern pressures and distractions.
This crisis does not only affect our children but also impacts us as parents—modern stresses often prevent us from connecting with our children as deeply as we would like. We have lost touch with the essential, ancestral knowledge of our kinship with nature.
Our project seeks to revive this deep, ancestral connection, fostering a reciprocal relationship with the natural world—one that our ancestors inherently understood.
By rekindling our kinship with nature, we create a healing path for both parents and children, helping us rediscover a connection that was once an integral part of our lives and essential to our well-being.
This project is not just about improving mental health; it is about restoring our fundamental kinship with the more-than-human world, creating a nurturing environment where both parents and children can truly thrive.
