Young People's Therapeutic Support Services
Specialising in Mental Health & Trauma Recovery For Teenagers
I offer a unique and bespoke person-centred therapeutic service for Young People aged 13+ based in Paignton, Devon.
Coming from over 20 years experience working with teenagers who experience a wide range of difficulties.
As well as being trained in Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy (Ma) and Child Psychology (Dip),
I have unique skills in being able to attune to and build rapport with young people,
to support them through different transition times in their lives.
I offer a range of creative approaches when working with young people – working at the young person’s pace and alongside their family/carers where and when appropriate.
For each young person I work with, I create a unique therapeutic plan to meet their needs, to get the best support in place for them, whatever the difficulties they may be facing.

I see teenage years as a one of the most challenging, but also potent times in our lives.
Its a crucial time to make a positive intervention.
It's really important to work with the young people within the family,
so as part of supporting young people, I also offer sessions to work with and support their parents/guardians.

Testimonial:
From a Young Person, aged 13:
From day one Katherine was warm and smiling, she is so easy to talk to and basically radiates good energy! I have always felt like I can talk to her about anything no matter the situation. I usually can’t really talk to people that I don’t know but somehow it’s different with Katherine, ever since the first session I haven’t felt worried or anxious at all about my sessions which is very unusual for me. I would 110% recommend these sessions because of mainly the affect they’ve had on me. Every session I walk out feeling much lighter like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders
as I am looking forward to next week. "
