Mental Health Assessments for Children & Adolescents
A mental health assessment provides clear, professional insights into what your child may be experiencing regarding their mental health and offers guidance on how to help.
It can often be difficult to determine if your child is facing mental health challenges or to know the best way to support them. Additionally, having your child’s mental health needs recognised by schools or other professional organisations can be challenging without a formal assessment or diagnosis. A mental health assessment conducted by a trained professional can be a valuable resource, offering expert observations and recommendations tailored to your child’s needs.
What to Expect
As part of the assessment process, you will receive a detailed report that outlines:
This is a therapeutic assessment, not a psychological evaluation or formal mental health diagnosis. If, during the assessment, there are indications of diagnosable conditions such as dyslexia, autism, or severe mental health concerns, we will provide advice on next steps. This may include referrals for further assessments or the option for us to make a professional referral on your behalf.
Who is it For?
Our mental health assessments are available for individuals aged 5–25 years. Assessments are available in person for ages 5–25 and online for ages 13–25
